Activities will include a birdhouse competition and videos from the Cornell Ornithology Lab. Maura Muller from the Sullivan County Audubon Society will help visitors craft replicas of birds killed in building collisions as part of a nation-wide environmental art display known as “Bird Collisions in the Anthropocene,” which was designed to increase awareness of this issue. Other activities will include a seed ball workshop hosted by ENGN, and an owl pellet dissection workshop and crafts to help kids learn more about local birds sponsored by the Delaware Highlands Conservancy. Carolyn Summers from Flying Trillium Gardens and Preserve will also be on hand to provide information about native plants and maintaining healthy local habitats.
